Response to Business & Human Rights Resource Centre

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to the recent news article about our operations in Myanmar.

Electricity availability is important to the well-being of people. VPower Group, as a specialist in distributed power generation market, has been supplying electricity in Myanmar and contributing to its electrification, since 2015.

In the face of the unstable macro-economic and social situations in Myanmar, we place the health and safety of our employees at top priority and have continued to honour our contractual obligations to the counterparties. We have not participated in any new tenders since last year and have been gradually scaling down our business presence in Myanmar with two power stations ceased operations after contract expired.

Last but not least, as we responded to the media, we do not engage in nor plan to engage in any LNG procurement, and we do not have any business dealings with any Russian entities.
