China: Workers protest demanding owed wages & compensation following factory closure; incl. co. response

On 10 January 2023, it was reported that the Dongguan Gogo Garment Manufacturing factory had announced its closure, following worker protests demanding owed wages and social insurance. Following the announcement, workers demanded their owed compensation for the layoff. The factory reported operating problems, including shrinking customer orders, and that it was unable to pay workers' wages.

In March 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Lululemon, Under Armour and Victoria's Secret to respond. The responses can be found below.
