LOTTE Hotels and Resorts did not respond

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre to invite LOTTE Hotels and Resorts to respond to an article that alleges that “LOTTE Hotels and Resorts has developed a hotel in Yangon on land leased from the Myanmar military, providing financing for the military under a build, operate and transfer agreement…” The article further states that “revenue from real estate deals like this are a source of direct, off-budget revenue that supports the military’s autonomy…”. The company did not respond.
