Myanmar: Garment workers allege 'modern-day slavery' conditions at factory, reporting mandatory overtime, excessive production targets & dismissal if workers take leave; incl. co. responses
In December 2022, it was reported that workers at Honor Apparel factory face a series of violations, including excessive production targets, underpaid wages, dismissal if workers take leave, mandatory overtime or workers face dismissal, workers hired as day labourers, and the factory contacting the police or soldiers if there are any incidents in the factory involving workers.
