Myanmar: Garment workers fired after sharing details of overtime work on social media; incl. co. responses

In October 2023, it was reported that 52 workers at Best Fortune Myanmar garment factory were fired after sharing on social media that they were forced to work overtime all day and night.

In January 2024, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited New Wave Group (for its Clique and Craft brands), New Yorker, LC Waikiki, and Tendam (for its Springfield brand) to respond. Full responses below.
