Brazil: Alleged Cutrale's violations of rights during the pandemic include firing of pregnant women, cuts in benefits and unhealthy working conditions
In an interview with Repórter Brasil, Cutrale employees denounced a series of violations that were allegedly being committed by the company during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the end of meal vouchers and the payment of commuting hours, the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), illegal searches, the dismissal of pregnant employees and excessive working hours.
The BHRRC invited Cutrale to comment on the report, but the company did not respond.
