Glencore response to ITUC allegations of corporate undermining of democracy

Glencore was one of seven companies identified as a corporate underminer of democracy by the ITUC in 2024. More information on the allegations against Glencore from the ITUC can be read here.

Thank you for providing Glencore with the opportunity to respond.

Glencore publishes an annual Review of our direct and indirect advocacy activities, which is available on our website. In addition, we publish an annual Ethics and Compliance Report that provides a detailed overview of our ethics and compliance programme, including a summary of our approach, our compliance governance and structure and the various systems and processes that we implement to support our programme.

We will not be commenting on the unsubstantiated and dated allegations made the ITUC.
