Myanmar: Garment workers allegedly forced to work unpaid overtime shifts if targets are not met or face wage deductions; incl. co. response

In October 2022, it was reported that workers at Myanmar City Garment Factory, including pregnant women, were forced to work overtime shifts without overtime pay if they did not meet the production standards. Workers who did not work overtime would face wage deductions.

In October 2022, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited American Holic to respond. It did not.
