Myanmar: Garment workers forced to sleep overnight at factory due to late overnight shifts; incl. co. response
In March 2024, it was reported that workers at Myanmar Sunrun Garments (part of Solamoda Group) are facing a series of violations, including workers unable to return home due to overnight shifts and forced to sleep at work stations. Workers do not want to work until late because of security concerns. Workers also reported limited meals provided, limited breaks, verbal abuse, and workers being demoted and forced to quit without compensation.
