Myanmar: Workers report day labourers' rights violated in garment factory; incl. co. responses

In February 2024, it was reported that workers at JOC Garment are facing a series of violations, including the hiring of day labourers (often children) who are denied permanent contracts, paid lower wages, fired without compensation and denied benefits, and insufficient fire extinguishers provided.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Burtle to respond. It did not.
