Noble Energy allegedly involved in denying Palestinian self-determination and violating Lebanon's sovereignty
The Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO) has published a report accusing Noble Energy’s operations in the Eastern Mediterranean of a number of violations under the OECD Guidelines, UNGPs, and international law. The report alleges that Noble Energy is involved, either directly or indirectly, in the following offences:
- Infringing on Lebanon’s territorial sovereignty
- Denial of Palestinian self-determination
- Pillaging Palestinian resources
- Powering Israeli settlements
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre has invited Noble Energy to respond to these allegations. Noble Energy has not responded.
