On 2 June 2022, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Oosto (formerly Anyvision) to respond to the allegations contained in Access Now´s report “Surveillance Tech in Latin America: Made Abroad, Deployed at Home” that Oosto is selling surveillance technologies across the region without transparency or public scrutiny eroding democratic processes, undermining privacy, freedom of speech and other basic human rights. The company did not respond.

On the same occasion, we invited Oosto to respond to Access Now's questions about its operations and responsibility to respect human rights. The company did not respond.
