Response by Helaba regarding Belarus letter & EKN withdrawal

We can confirm that we received the letter by the Coordination Council dated 15 March 2021, which was attached to your enquiry of 27 May 2021. However, we would kindly ask for your understanding that we are unable to comment on individual credit exposures for reasons of banking secrecy.

In addition, we would like to point out that responsible, ethical and lawful conduct is a fundamental principle for Helaba and its employees in carrying out their duties. Sustainability guidelines and lending criteria that apply to the entire Helaba Group are published on our website at www.helaba.com. Furthermore, Helaba has adopted a Code of Conduct that serves as a common set of guidelines and defines a reliable framework for responsible behaviour within the bank as well as towards business partners and the general public. In this respect, we continually monitor the latest information and developments and adapt the scope of our business activities accordingly.
