SGS responded

SGS has had a permanent presence in mainland China for over 30 years delivering independent testing, inspection and certification services to our customers both locally and globally across all business sectors.  Our services are carried out to the highest standards and we are recognized for our expertise, quality of service and integrity.

As a full member of APSCA, we are totally aligned with the APSCA Code of Professional Conduct. We also comply with the requirements and respective audit protocols of the different collaborative programs for which we are approved as well as our clients’ specific programs and requirements.

Our services are highly technical, complex, strategic and integral to our customers’ operations and, as a matter of policy, we do not comment specifically on the work we conduct around the world on their behalf. We confirm that we are not conducting labor audits in Xinjiang.
