Tchibo's response to allegations of abuses in Myanmar garment factories - Nov 2023 update

Following our union partners’ (IndustriALL Global Union and their Myanmar affiliate IMWF) call to leave Myanmar in Oct/Nov 2021 due to the increasing labour rights violations in the aftermath of the military coup, Tchibo decided to completely withdraw from Myanmar with last shipments in mid-2022. Against this background, we also ended our business relationship with Hakers Enterprise Myanmar; last products were shipped in August 2022.
