The BHRRC invited American Lithium to comment on alleged human rights and environmental violations, including violations of the right to free, prior and informed consultation; the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment; and water and soil contamination at the Falchani, Macusani and Quelccaya mining projects in Peru, but the company did not respond.
