Even though over 70% of the Coway USA workers voted in favor of the union in the first NLRB election, the company continues to challenge the workers' votes and do anything to delay the inevitable unionization of the workforce.

After the company challenged almost 50 ballots in the second NLRB election, the NLRB recounted the challenged ballots on March 1st, concluding that a hearing on nine of the company's challenged ballots needed to take place. Over a contentious 2-day NLRB hearing, March 25-26, Coway USA workers' showed up to defend their votes, along with other Coway USA workers who attended in solidarity with their co-workers... The company, instead of calling on workers to testify at the hearing, hired a "handwriting expert" for thousands of dollars. This expert went on to allege that the workers who testified lied on the stand and that their signatures were not actually that of the workers...
