The NLRC Sheriff formally turned over the check amounting to P10,110, 310.60 to DUSIT HOTEL EMPLOYEES LABOR UNION-NUWHRAIN-SENTRO-IUF. This was accepted by DHELU President Ramil Baldores along with its Legal Counsel, Atty. Tony Salvador and Nuwhrain Deputy Secretary General Marco Gojol. The said amount was garnished in the bank of Dusit Hotel following the order of Voluntary Arbitrator Prof. Rosa Maria Juan-Bautista.

The said amount is from the Service Charge owed by the employees put in reserve by the Managemet to the bank because they want to give it to Managers, which is prohibited by law and based on the decision of the VA.

The said amount is an initial payment only because the Union still has on-going cases/appeals on its claims related to the said case.
