PSM rejoinder to 2nd Beaks response re alleged SLAPP

...

In response, Beaks and Suria have failed, refused, and/or neglected to address the core points raised by our clients.

On 6 June 2024, at the hearing of the labour cases, Beaks and Suria returned 5 passports to the migrant workers. This clearly shows that the workers’ passports were always being held by Beaks and Suria.

Under the employment contracts with the workers, Beaks and Suria were to pay the workers RM1,500 a month. Beaks and Suria have not denied this obligation. And they have not made these monthly payments.
