ASDA's response to Bangladesh minimum wage outreach

Asda have been monitoring the situation relating to the implementation of a new minimum wage and working with Trade Organisations, partnership bodies such as the Ethical Trading Initiative and our suppliers to understand more on how best we can support all parties during this time.

We work closely with our global sourcing partners, partnership bodies as well as our supply base to ensure that ahead of seasonal negotiations we are aware of the impacts of any global cost impacts which include wages.

Asda runs a detailed social compliance programme which includes checks on payroll to ensure workers are being paid in-line with requirements
