Bureau Veritas Azeri letter to local NGO about allegations of labour rights violations published in report

...As previously stated, Bureau Veritas stands as a global leader in inspection, testing and certification with Human Rights and Labor Principles being integral to our values...

Given our confidence in Bureau Verits's compliance with all rights and obligations derived from internationally adopted laws and conventions...we wish to clarify that the statement issued by the Organization for the Protection of Oil Workers' Rights concerning Bureau Veritas is factually incorrect. We are concerned that such misinformaiton may adversely affect the reputation and interests of our company.

Based on the aforementioned points, we trust that the Oil Workers' Rights Protection Organization will proactively undertake corrective measures to mitigate any harm resulting from the dissemination of inaccurate information or its potentioal consequences.

Please be informed that in the event no corrective measures are taken or planned to rectify the dissemination of the false information following our written inquiry, we will have no choice but to pursue legal recourse to address the repercussions of the false statements...
