Indonesia: BankTrack allegations against APRIL re its alleged involvement in land & social conflicts in Riau Province

In December 2014 BankTrack released a new report titled "Banking with Principles?". The report assesses 32 of the largest global banks against the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The report also referred to several case studies which BankTrack used to illustrate how banks were implicated in human rights abuses through the projects they were financing.  One of these case studies concerned APRIL's operations in Indonesia.

In December 2014 we invited APRIL to respond to the report which it did.  In February 2015 BankTrack sent us a rejoinder to APRIL's response and we again invited APRIL to respond which it did.
