“The workers are having a hard time because they are demanding a 2-fold increase in the workplace record and planning to reduce professional fees and salaries”, 10 September 2022
The workers said that they are having a hard time because [the factory] increase[d] the previous ]target]…2 times…and if the standard is not met, the professional fees received will be cut and the A, B, and C grades will be reduced.
…At the BOGART Garment…[the] workers say that they are facing difficulties in the workplace, such as…[being] shout[ed] [at] rudely by supervisors at work.
The factory…employs more than 2,000 workers and manufactures the HELLO SUGAR brand.
"Because of the lack of orders, some workers will no longer be called for overtime OT starting in the 8th month. From September 4th, the entire factory will not be called for overtime OT because there are no orders. If the workers [do not] meet the standards set by the employer, they will not pay the professional fees previously given, and they will be demoted to A, B, C," said a worker who works at the factory…
The workers do not have the right to benefit from the law…The workers said that they are being cursed and shouted at harshly, and that they are causing difficulties for the workers because they are paid late on the pay day.
"What is going on now is that we are hearing reports that the factory will be closed...Now, they are asking for [targets to be met] without [for overtime workers], and if [workers] cannot meet the [targets], they are saying that they will cut the professional fees. They are saying that they will cut A, B, and C money. What they are doing is that they are deliberately making the workers angry and quit their jobs," said a worker.
…[they] must provide workers with statutory holidays within the workplace. not to cut professional fees…not to shout…they…demand that workers' salaries be paid during working hours.
