Response from Equinor to Oxfam's open letter

... "As you are aware, the EITI Board is currently in the process of discussing revisions to the Expectations, as well as how to deal with situations where a company is not meeting the Expectations. This in an effort to find a consensus solution. Given this ongoing process, and in line with regular principles for EITI board governance and work, we do not deem it appropriate nor necessarily in the interest of identifying workable solutions, to provide more detailed responses to the questions posed in the open letter.

To the extent you are interested in Equinor’s payments to governments reporting, we invite you to study our latest Annual Report, section 5.4, which can be found on our webpages (Annual Reports - equinor.com). Similarly, you will also find our latest Annual Sustainability Report providing more information about our approach to governance and sustainability in general. New versions of these reports covering the year of 2021 are currently being prepared and can be looked up on www.equinor.com immediately after their publication."
