"DMW shuts down firm for illegal recruitment,"
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has ordered the closure of JCB-Success Maritime Consultancy Services in Sta. Cruz, Manila, after surveillance operations confirmed the company was recruiting seafarers without a government permit.
"We encourage victims of illegal recruitment and human trafficking to report these crimes to us. Workers' protection is one of the core functions of the DMW," Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople said.
