A law firm filed a complaint with the UK's National Contact Point alleging that Chapman Taylor, a UK-based architecture firm, violated the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises in its redesign of the town of Shushi in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The allegations concern Azerbaijan's systematic erasure of Armenian people, culture, and heritage in Shushi. The complaint argues that Chapman Taylor did not use its influence to prevent or reduce these adverse human rights impacts, as is required by the OECD Guidelines.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Chapmat Taylor to respond. The company did not.
