Myanmar: Garment workers stage protest at factory after sudden close and unpaid wages & compensation; incl. co. response
In October 2023, it was reported that workers at Hong Miao Garment factory occupied the factory, after the factory announced its closure without paying workers their unpaid wages and adequate severance pay.
In January 2024, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited FieldCore and Paseos to respond. Full responses below.
