BASF has been operating for over 25 years in Belarus. We follow the developments in Belarus closely; we are concerned about the situation and hope that the Belarusian society will see a peaceful solution. As a founding member of the UN Global Compact and based on compliance and business ethics as laid out in our Code of Conduct, BASF is committed to strictly adhere in its activities to local and international legislation, including the current US and EU sanctions.

BASF supplies about 70 Belarusian customers with chemical raw materials for various purposes, offering them innovative products and solutions, in industries such as chemicals, refining, construction, agriculture and food processing. Moreover, in Belarus BASF carries out a wide range of social and charity activities in the field of education, support of disabled people, popularization and promotion of chemistry and environmental care. By promoting sustainability, creating new job opportunities and strengthening the economic potential of Belarusian partners, BASF strives to contribute to the well-being of the people of Belarus.
