Rolex response on potential links to illegal gold mining in the Yanomami Indigenous Land

...As a committed and responsible economic player, Rolex has implemented a series of actions to track its supply chains to eliminate risks related to the origin of its raw materials.

With respect to the gold that Rolex uses to manufacture its watches, the brand has put in place its own system of traceability, from mine to final product. All flows of traced gold that Rolex uses are certified by external audit.

Rolex has exclusive traceability with each of its suppliers, precluding all risk to its reputation and image in this respect. To reply specifically to the allegations you mention, the brand’s traceability system means we can confirm that Rolex does not use any gold originating in Brazil...
