S. Korea: Global trade unions join Korean unions’ calls for president's resignation amid democratic crisis

… Labour unions worldwide are voicing concerns over the state of democracy in South Korea, with many calling for the resignation of President Yoon Suk-yeol.

… Unions from 33 countries, including the French General Confederation of Labour (CGT), the Italian General Confederation of Labour (CGIL), the United Auto Workers (UAW) in the United States, the Japan Teachers' Union (ZENKYO), Education International, and UNISON in the UK, have all published joint statements by December 6, demanding the president's resignation.
