After acknowledging the publication “In Broad Daylight”, ACCIONA Energy contacted the supplier JA Solar in order to obtain confirmation that the polysilicon of the photovoltaic modules supplied to the company in the last two years haven’t been made with polysilicon from the Xingiang province in China. Also, confirmation regarding that forced, child or illegal labor has not been occurred in its preparation. After this request, we received the attached document that demonstrates JA Solar's commitment to complying with the law and safeguarding human rights”. (Annex 2) From Supply chain 198 audits were carried out, of which five correspond to suppliers in a risk country (5 out of 5).
