In October 2023, members of the Chuquicamata union at Codelco's Chuquicamata mine in Chile reported to parliamentarians that they had been victims of assaults, including having their children followed to school and photographed.

The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Codelco to reply; it did not.
