As a female worker at Kingsrish (MYANMAR) Fashion Limited was fired after she was punched in the workplace, it is reported that there were negotiations but [they were] not resolve[d]. Kingsrish (MYANMAR) Fashion Limited [is] locate[d] in No.39/1,2,3 Yay Pyar Street, No.18 Ward, Shwe Pyi Thar Township, Yangon Division...

On July 21, at around 2:00 p.m., Ma...who is a labourer working in the parking lot of the factory was arguing with a man from the same department about business, and the worker swore at her and punched [her] 3 times in the face.

Dissatisfied with being punched like that, she complained to Leader but was driven away without any solution. After that, the same worker grabbed her shirt from behind [and] punched [her] 2 more times...the owner did not solve the problem and fired her without any compensation.

Therefore, [the worker] complained to the Department of Labor for violating the terms of the EC contract, and finished negotiating three times on August 21st but the negotiations did not go well because the employer did not take responsibility in any fair way.

The factory...mainly manufactures H&M products...
