Myanmar: Garment workers report the dismissal of trade union members & excessive production targets at Myanmar Knitting factory; incl. co. responses

In September 2022, it was reported that workers at the Myanmar Knitting factory were facing a series of violations at the factory, including excessive production targets and dismissal if workers failed to meet the targets, mandatory overtime, and the dismissal of trade union leaders and union members.

In October 2022, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Primark and Marks & Spencer to respond. The full responses are included below.
