Aker BP responded

The transaction with Aker BP has nothing to do with the Sudan legal case in Sweden. It is Lundin Energy´s oil and gas activities on the Norwegian continental shelf that are being taken over by Aker BP through the proposed Combination, while all potential liabilities related to the Sudan legal case will remain with Lundin Energy. Aker BP actively raised questions about the human rights situation in Sudan with Lundin as part of the transaction process. Lundin Energy has before and after the transaction confirmed that they will have the same potential liabilities related to the Sudan case as before the Combination, and will continue to be a robust company, listed in Stockholm with a renewable energy focused business, refhttps://www.lundin-energy.com/lundin-energy-presents-its-renewables-business/. The Sudan legal case is ongoing in the Swedish Courts. We therefore refer all further inquiries regarding the Sudan legal case to Lundin Energy.
