Daikin has discussed with the RBA and some RBA member companies the repayment of recruitment fees that were not included in the settlement items between Kawaguchi and the workers and has made a financial contribution to this initiative. We understand that the RBA is proceeding with the payment to each affected worker diligently. If for some reason the smooth payment to the workers is not proceeding, it is a serious problem for them. Daikin expects that the issues preventing smooth payments will be resolved and that the remittances by the RBA will be delivered to all affected workers as soon as possible.
