To what extent are the CSR issues outlined in this article being picked up by law firms and passed on to corporate clients? If little or none – why so?...[Are] the compliance and regulation oriented accountancy conglomerates (such as Price Waterhouse Coopers or Ernst & Young) or corporate advisory/consultancy firms (such as McKinsey, KPMG or Arthur Anderson) any better placed to take up this challenge?...it is surely imperative that business lawyers be on top of the CSR developments in general, and the legal aspects of CSR more specifically.
