Singapore: Migrant workers live in fear following a surge of COVID-19 infections in cramped dormitories
Migrant workers live in fear following a surge of COVID-19 infections in cramped and filthy dormitories, making social distancing impossible. After reports emerged of unsanitary conditions, the Government said it was working to improve the situation.
Reports state that more than five thousand workers have been moved to temporary accommodations in an effort to reduce high-risk population density in the dormitories.
