Budweiser (part of AB In-Bev) response to questions on recruitment in Qatar & ahead of the 2022 World Cup

AB InBev is committed to respecting human rights. Our approach is based on the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and is outlined in our Global Human Rights Policy.

Our Responsible Sourcing Policy, which cascades our human rights expectations into our supply chain, explicitly prohibits the charging of recruitment fees to workers. We have included human rights clauses into our contracts for vendors in Qatar, including those that are sub-contracted. We verify the compliance of our Responsible Sourcing Policy through due diligence processes that engage both management and workers.
