Cambodia: Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs responds to Australian MP over human rights violations in Cambodia and EU's EBA withdrawal

Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Marise Payne responded to a letter from Julian Hill, Federal Member for Bruce, regarding the EU’s partial withdrawal of EBA and a systematic human rights violation in Cambodia.

The Minister said that her government have raised concerns over democracy and human rights to her Cambodian government’s counterparts. Australia have expressed concerned over human rights respect in Cambodia both at the government level and the UN Human Rights Council level.
