Dell response

In mid-August, we closed our offices and ceased all Russian operations. Back in February 2022, we made the decision to not sell, service or support products in Russia, Belarus and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, in addition to the already embargoed Crimea.

We take a risk-based approach to compliance and have a number of processes and controls in place designed to detect and prevent diversion of our product into sanctioned countries or places that Dell chooses to not conduct business. As part of our efforts to respond to changing or emerging risks, Dell continues to seek to identify additional means to mitigate the risk of diversion.

We do not publicly share what these controls are because this may assist individuals trying to evade our diversion controls.
