Malawi: Local authority warns SABMiller & Carlsberg's subsidiary against discharging effluent into local river; companies respond

A local authority has warned Carlsberg Malawi and Chibuku Products (a subsidiary of SABMiller) against discharging effluent into the Nankhaka River, rendering the water unusable. Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited both Carlsberg and SABMiller to respond to these allegations; the responses are available.
