Myanmar: Garment workers face continued excessive overtime despite inspections; incl. co. response
In July 2024, it was reported that workers at Hengda Myanmar are facing a series of violations, including the continuation of excessive overtime following brand and labour office inspections, public scolding of workers who don't work overtime even if they are sick and the Workplace Coordination Committee unable to speak out for fear of being criticised.
