Myanmar: Garment workers report being forced to work overtime non-stop for a month; incl. co. response

In December 2023, it was reported that workers at Nisho (2) factory faced a series of violations, including workers developing health issues due to being forced to work overtime with no day off for a month, denial of leave and wage cuts if people take time off, denial of permanent contracts for day labourers, excessive production targets, health and safety issues in the factory incl. damaged toilets and verbal abuse.

In August 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Hang Ten to respond. It did not.
