Myanmar: Over 50 day labourers at garment factory denied permanent contracts & benefits; incl. co. response

In May 2024, it was reported that workers at Huitai Manufacturing (Myanmar) are facing a series of violations, including day labourers denied permanent contracts, denied access to full wages and benefits, and dismissed if they refuse overtime, verbal abuse if workers fail to meet excessive production targets, wage cuts if workers take leave, and no access to drinking water in hot weather.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP (for its Sinsay brand) to respond. The response can be found below.
