Elements of the Honduran National Police and the Military Police of Public Order (PMOP), accompanied by an executing judge, mobilised to the Ceibita Way sector with the objective of carrying out an eviction of peasant groups, acused of being invaders, who had seized oil palm plantations.

One of the peasants assured that they have the public deed that accredits them as the legitimate owners of the land. They say that security guards from Dinant were among those who tried to violently expel them.
