UAE: After paying USD1675 in recruitment fees to Trinetra Consultancy, Nepali workers remain unemployed & "stranded" for months; co. did not respond

Several Nepali workers who were promised jobs in the Gulf which in exchange they paid high recruitment fees for amounting to Rs200,000 (USD1675) were left "high and dry". Some workers reported being stranded in the UAE on visit visas for around 14 months without the promised jobs.

The Resource Centre reached out to Trinetra Consultancy, the recruitment agency accused of leaving these workers destitute, for a response in February 2022. Trinetra Consultancy did not provide a response.
