Espressolab was founded in 2014 within a university campus. From the beginning, our journey has been entirely independent—without any political affiliations, government support, or state incentives. Today, we have become a brand that proudly carries the Turkish flag in 15 countries.

There are no hidden partners or undisclosed backers behind our brand. Espressolab is a company solely owned by the Kocadağ family, with no other shareholders.

Additionally, during a public rally held by opposition leader Özgür Özel in Maltepe, it was clarified that Espressolab was not deliberately targeted for political reasons. Mr. Özel explicitly stated that the mention of Espressolab in earlier protests was unintentional and actually stemmed from students’ broader demands for affordable options and discounts within university campuses.
