IPIECA joins the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) in celebrating World Environment Day.

For over 40 years, IPIECA has brought the industry and stakeholders together to work on environmental issues related to the oil and gas industry. Through this work, IPIECA aims to identify, manage and mitigate any potential impacts on the natural environment, enabling members to improve their environmental performance.

Our environmental programmes and activities cover a wide-range of areas such as oil spill preparedness and response, climate change, biodiversity and ecosystem services and water management.
