Myanmar: Garment workers report multiple rights abuses incl. mandatory overtime & excessive production targets; incl. co. response

In January 2024, it was reported that workers at Bohua Fashion were facing a series of violations, including non-payment of overtime wages, workers forced to work overtime if they do not meet targets, reduced wages, workers being intimidated and facing factory closure if workers report their issues on social media or hold meetings, and the Workers Coordination Committee being elected by the employers.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP S.A (for its Reserved, Sinsay and Cropp brands) to respond. The response can be found below.
